First one for me Alan I just think it looks better and you can see the way the Panzer IV is evolving (vents still recognisable)
Btw is that your 72nd scale Panzer IV? If so Nice job
Cheers Ian

Cheers Ian I think you may have hit the nail on the head there

. As to the 1/72 it's not mine, Mackem found a site and this was one of the models displayed there. I had already sort of looked at a " what if " idea with a bit of card and paper and then shelved it as to radical. I am now looking at keeping the top half of the rear side extensions to maintain the flow but keep the typical Panzer IV side vents which would show the evolving development of a Panzer IV design. All the best and many thanks for the input

Well I got a bit more done on the " Paper Panzer " over Christmas. As the vote was 50/50 on which way to go I went very much with the drawing of this proposed tank ( many thanks to those of you who voted and also for your comments ). Here are some more pictures of where I am now. All the bodywork is done as you can see it now just filling and sanding the side view shows what it will look like with the tracks on and an L48 length gun on. Made a bit of a mess of mine so I will have to get a new aluminium gun barrel and get it turned down

. I will be smothing off all the green filler later today and adding a little detail to the upper hull I will also be bracing the lower hull ready to mount the electrics. Also want to go with an RX 18 board in this one as I am dead impressed with the new Stug's driving charestics so I hope Andy has some in stock LOL as Santa also left me some money as well. All the best and a happy new year to everyone

Thank you for the kind words Matt. All you need is a Panzer IV and a Tamia/motorro King Tiger a BIG saw as well as some superglue and off you go. If the rumor about a HL Elephant is true then you may see it up for sale LOL. All the best for now and a happy new year
Alan
PS Another poll about a cammo scheme soon, and trust me the Pershig is looking very GOOD
