Hello John... the commanders are made mostly from scratch...I have a bunch of heads from back in the day when I build garage Kits...it's tough in this scale... you can still find resin garage kits on Ebay...they are much cheaper than before... and if you are really thinking about doing an Armor tech ..you will also find there is a greater selection you can choose from ...since most garage kits are closer to 1/6th scale... what you want to do is find a character who's face or head is similar to the character you want to make ;)

The bodies are made with an armature then covered with two part epoxy putty... I use industrial stuff... I feel it leaves a better surface than milliput

Good luck ...join the party

PS. If you go searching and find a figure feel free to contact me... I know most of them by heart and can tell if the size of the figure will be appropriate :D

Ginger? 8O ....there is a little orange in there..but that's how anime figures are painted on blondes .... the gradient is orange yellow to white ..in light to dark fade ...one day I'll post some larger figures where I used and airbrush ...will have to ask the administration first though..as they are not military ;)

Have a good one Herman
