Hi referance to your breaking towhook I had a similar problem on my DUKW, to solve it I brought a white metal towhook from Ron Dean at Deans Marine Models (they use them for Scale model boat Tug towing, barges weight 25Ilbs) and then you can drill and tap the towhook back and use a screw through the rear bulkhead to secure it, this allows the hook to pivot as well as securing it, I use to tow my lads 36" scale fishing boat on a 4 wheeled trailor from the car to the pool and back when we went boating. Once I did this I did not break the hook again

Very Impressive fynsdad ....I'm not sure if it's the lighting.. but for some reason... that dozer looks a tad "meaner"
