LOL too funny... I do agree... they do give your tanks identity... I mean everyone must know that's one of fynsdad's tanks on the field .... the other side of the coin would be "LET'S GO GET HIM" it's fynsdad ...but keep your eyes peeled for Dragon245
I have to admit... I like those pin ups as well... just like you I used to research them...though I like the way you decided to use what you found... as I never attempted to paint one on anything....I tried... a long time ago on a 1/35 scale Ontos ...didn't go so well

.....Idea flash!!! wouldn't that be a cool build

Looking good fynsdad
are the handles primed brass rod? or did you cast your own out of polymer resin ?
and the BIG question... Did you choose a pin up for her already...or do you wait till she comes to life ?

Plastic coated rod.... I've never seen it before... When i did change handles i would buy brass stock... and for these 1/16 scaled tanks ... brazing rods ...very cool though...
Thanks for the Lesson fynsdad

Good Morning, Fynsdad,
I was just at the primeportal.net site doing research for my next build and saw a pair of those fenders on an M4A3. You do amazing work, Sir.
regards,
Painless

Looking good fynsdad... those fenders... do you reinforce them with another thinner sheet of plastic underneath ... or are they just glued to the side?...they do add character

Good Afternoon,
Instead of or in addition to a pin up, Fynsdad, what about making this a Korean Easy Eight and putting one of those elaborate tiger demon faces on the bow. That would certainly be different. It is just an idea I got while wondering how the bow of your surplus Sherman would look with one of those wooden plank catch all racks on it. Beautiful cast detailing on the turret as well.

Are you a mind reader too fynsdad.... I found this picture and was going to post it.. with a caption..."WOW! you're finished

"
But now ... since you beat me to the punch... I have to say...."SPOT ON!!!"
to which...if I may.... suggest a PIN UP

fynsdad wrote:Cheers guys, I did think about the Korean "tiger", but all my other tanks are late war ETO, so I like to keep the same. I once did a Russian winter Tiger and thought it just stood out too much so sold it on

Greetings Obi one ...
This Korean Tiger? I would agree with you... though at one time I liked the face on the front of the Sherman... I forget which brand of static used to market it with that image... I think Tamiya ... I do think it wouldn't match what you are doing
With that said though.... a nice anime figure sitting atop that EASY 8 ... might look pretty sharp

....

Have a good one fynsdad
