Your Famo is absolutely amazing. And your camouflage!!!!! I hope to achieve the same level, because your camouflage is great.

Just one thing (if I can), I 've never seen on photos that were so high arches. The first time I made mine, it was high, but after I have seen on different pictures (repairing the panzers 1 and 2, In detail special Famo or on differents magazines) than it was not high.

But your Famo stay a fantastic job!!!

Had problems with the gearbox its basically worn out and I got no joy from Asiatam regarding replacements despite several emails and a phone call. So I decide to make my own or at least adapt something to suit

I found some 90 degree drive gear boxes on ebay for 3.95 each. The shafts needed lengthening and a bearing fitting in the outer housing. My good friend Pete did a great job machining an extension piece

The boxes themselves have a smaller 12v motor so i machined the case to allow a speed 400 to fit and rebored the worm gear for the shaft to fit the new motor these now fit in the chassis frame

The outer housing and the shaft took a little work to align and run straight but a quick re test with the gear sitting on the chassis showed it all moving as it should. The speaker reciever and clark board all fit under the bonnet
