Makes what I have look like a freaking kid's toy.

... Which isn't inaccurate because it is, but still!

Taking a break while waiting for a book to arrive from France. Always slow dealing with France. Need good scale drawings of the cupola view ports. Looking forward to getting to work on this turret. This was a very nice model fromArmortek. Lots of work for the modeler to do so good value. Back putting zimmerit on another late armortek Tiger I. Not sure weather to go with another abtl 101 in command form or maybe tank 312 from 505

At last I'm making some progress with these parts. I have made most of the master parts necessary to detail the Cupola. I tried making a mould to produce the viewport interiors in one piece but the moulds tend to break so I will try to make in seperate parts for assembly instead.

Thanks,

Alot more parts to produce still. Interior viewports for the cupola and turret side doors giving some trouble. Hopefully get a usable mould soon. I'm not fitting the Armortek recoil to the gun. Not impressed with it. Might build the breech mechanism instead. Might leave the elevation motors out also as they take up a lot of room and make removal of the turret a pain.

Very happy with the model though. Lots to keep you occupied with this kit. Brackets for shurzen should be fun.

Some more work done on the turret side hatch view ports. Difficult molding. Cupola viewports even more difficult and there are five of them. still some small parts to add like the head guard.

I have molded in the fixing bolts but I might filet them off and attach the view port with screws instead.
