EXACTLY what was goin on earlier out here in my garage..

got a few cans of car primer so in future less haste more speed me thinks..! got some paints coming so next time, gonna tidy up a bit, give myself a bit of room to work and take my time..

woz..out of interest which airbrush paints have you used..?

Keep checking ebay, every now and then the Tamiya spray cans pop up, right now there is some Olive Drab and some dark yellow on there

many thanks for that fireflykeith..! been looking here and there but missed those somehow...tenner a can is a bit of a pisstake IMO but supply and demand i guess..!!

stuart the airbrush will need a couple of coats or three to build up the colour
i always use car primer from halfords just gotta make sure its acrylic which most are ;)
heres a shot of the bulldog in stages
first is primed the second is after 2-3 coats of sand
and the third is with the first stage cammo added

Only thing I would add is that if you are going to skip the primer (I must confess that I never bother),

then the secret is to wash the plastic with soapy water first. This removes the release agents that they use during the moulding process and the paint sticks much better. As has been said previously, apply several thin coats (I always dilute mine 50/50, and build up the paint).
