Your attention to fine detail is an inspiration. Will you ever finish your build? :haha:

Spoken like a true detailer. I'm not in your league when it comes to detailing but I still keep looking over the 30 or so tanks I've done to see if I can add anything to make them look more realistic. :haha: I haven't even gone through the trouble to make my Sherman's turrets looked like they have cast turrets.

One side of the tow cable clamps is done. Now to do the other side. I'm rushing so I can paint the turret tomorrow. ;D

Note that the thingy up front of the tow cable I had to redo and reposition because the molded detail was too high.

I'm not using the plastic tow cable - only the ends. I'll be looking for appropriate cable size or make my own and cut to length. As it is, the plastic one is too short. But it fits the clamps nicely. :)

You still haven't added the angle iron cable cover that runs to the smoke grenade launchers from the cable cover junction box on the turret top. Better do them before you paint.

NYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Finally priming the turret - and I messed up! :haha: I sprayed too close so some areas have thick primer dripping. Am waiting for it to completely dry before I sand off the excess and re-apply thin coats on the affected areas. The other areas are ok.
