Herman you are very persistent and it paid off. Well done.

Or you might be a mad scientist....

Anyway,

Herman when you can please post a picture once the wiring is sorted so all the rest of us who have stalled out trying to perform this can see your handiwork thank you

Will do mate.
For now, here is a quick one.
The white wire on my new taigen unit was not connected, and it was soldered onto the same post on the other motor as instructed.
I cut the terminal off the red( :wtf: ) negative wire and secured it to the donor tiger cable than funtioned the tiger.
As soon as I hit the fire activation the recoil functioned and the system returned to forward battery.
I could have done a nude-snow-angel once that happened I was so happy.

Just now im going to secure a feed off the on/off switch in the JT so once my stuff comes from HAYA it can hopefully get it going quick smart.

Copy that, its real hot here right now so
- A theres no snow
- B I would end up with sunburn in all my important little places

I also mucked around with the recoil unit height, needed to get a bit agricultural with the barrel trunnions, but at this stage it seems correct.Just had to lower the recoil unit into the casemate, but it was easier to alter the barrel trunnion centres to allow the elevation arm to fully rotate.

Cheers Mr Reaper, the acid test will be once I plug it into the new H/L system.
It simply MUST work, so thats going to be the motivation.

I just want to get on with the detailing & stuff.............stuff I enjoy & get a form of pay-back from, not the damn electronics piss-farting that its been so far :/

Your persistence has paid off. Well done.

I could do with attending a course something like "An eedyits guide to rc electronics" so that I "know" what I'm doing :haha:

Well now its really on !
My cables and plugs arrived from HAYA UK.
Posted on the 30th UK time arrived my door today the 10th over the busiest time of the year for mail & parcels.
Cannot heap enough praise on Andrew from HAYA for getting my emails, replying, checking, replying and sending over such a busy time.

I need to make an adaptor for the plug socket as the holes in the PCB dont match the mount inside the Matorro hull, but thats easy.

Very soon I will be boom or bust, so here goes.

BUST :-< :-< :-< :-<

Changed the black-black -red over to match the picture from Mr B-Man, no good, changed back, no good.
Surely now, with an actual 8 to 8 pin cable AND socket , brand new, out of a current gen T-90 the %$#@# thing should operate.
Got the red negative onto the black side of the on/off switch...............what the hells left :-< :-<

This has really kicked me where it hurts.............
