No Alpa, at least not yet. If I had it in desert color probably would have redone it long ago to a much finer looking nonslip. If I wanted to weather it more, the very rough surface makes that hard to do with paint unless dry brushing on more dust. Pics of real ones driven long in the desert dust hide the NATO colors so much they look almost desert tan pretty quickly and also any colors of the stowage items disappeared under the dust.
I'd describe mine as a SEP that has recently arrived as a replacement for the A1's of the Of the 101st Airborne's armor as they started to rotate them out of Iraq. At that point in time the 1st SEP version arriving and the M1A1's already there where in use at the same time.

:haha: :haha: No Problem Giant....I was just kidding...What's interesting with all the M1 builds is that everyone so far has taken a different route...it can only be beneficial for future builders of the tank as they can choose which direction to take...think yours is the most realistic...ATC's is very precise ...Mine is what I can enjoy...waiting to see how Scalawags technique goes ;)

Would be nice if when all of us are done we could post the same size pics in one place to show the way the Abrams changed from the m1A2 to the A2SEP and then the A2Sep2 for anyone else who wants to do a more correct version of HL's offering.

Even your hybrid of the 3 versions would have a place there as In it's own way it is rather special showing that building for total accuracy isn't needed to end up with a good looking functional rc tank.

OK. lets do it once everyone is done. Just give warning when your going to post and the picture size your posting so they are all the same.
