That's exactly what I did. ;o) Thank you, my friend. I remembered that advice from one of your other tips posts. Speaking of other kits, I have a 1/15 StuG IV that is completely resin that I will be building and turning into a display model with a little help from Bandai. Also, next Spring or Summer will see that Imperial Sturmtiger kit start up. I've been wanting one of those since the original 1/16 rtr version came out from Matorro. Lots of resin next year, I am happy to say ;o)

Yes I've been told of the goodies you've gotten...as well as seen your post about the Sturm....Good for you Painless...I knew if you got your hands on a good resin kit you would enjoy it

...Keep your wits about you though...those bad ones are out there...just glad you didn't have to work on those ..as I'm pretty sure it would have put you off to resin all together
Keep up the great work and enthusiasm Painless

PS...I have a Gundam junk resin kit that fell and shattered a bit....if you want to try to resurrect it...you can have it lol....just kidding

...that one is going to be a real pain to fix

Alpha,
I like to think that I have a little SticK-To-It in me when it comes to problems. I'll freely admit tho' that if a part turns to dust when it breaks, not much even I can do about it. ;o) I'm looking forward to many more years of RC tanks ( and trucks and tracks now ) It will be fun to see where the Hobby goes with friends along for the ride.

Yes indeed Painless perseverance is all important when taking on just about any task....I mention that Gundam model...sure it's junk resin...but I know I can fix it ...and you know as well as I...that I wouldn't have the collection I now have if I just gave up

....even if parts turn to dust...you can bet on it I'll find a way to fix that as well lol.....it's all part of the adventure ...it's what makes the challenge ...FUN
Carpe Diem Painless

Nothing in the Post today. Tonight was the local Sketchnite we host so I waited until late to get anything StuG related done. Pictures:

Paul,
Thank you! ;o) I wanted something different and he was available in a new casting. I could have paid more and had him arrive painted but I kind of like to do that myself anymore.

Paul,
Good morning. I've seen those decals and have some on watch on Ebay. Very useful to add a little detail and accuracy. Have you seen the pupil ones for eyes? Kind of creepy with hundreds of differently sized and colored eyes looking at you from a sheet. ;o) Very, very useful tho'. There are some tutorials on YouTube on how to apply them for best effect.
