Hi Richard, look for world peacekeepers like this
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WORLD-PEACEK ... SwXaRaAzli
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/World-Peacek ... SwqbxaAhZ7
I use these as they are 1/18 but on the large side so do well for 1/16. If you keep man eye on e-bay you can sometimes pick up job lots like these

Richard I have been buying these 1/18 fully articulated figures that Alwyn has highlighted,
Just Make sure they are the 9.5Cms figures,
When I say fully articulated I am quite serious,
I would expect to pay in excess of £30 per figure elsewhere for such detail.
They are easily absorbed into their 1/16 surroundings including the Heng Long/Wpl Truck,
The accessory's that come with them are of good quality,
I found the price unbelievable when I laid my hands on the first one and immediately reordered more,
The figure with the Motor bike is very handy as the bike is easily adapted into a German Army Machine and looks well in a diorama.
Shaun.

Ran the truck today with the new Tamiya torque tuned motor and changed the sounds. Hope to get it outside soon.
Thanks

That looks miles better, actually appears to have some get up & go about it.
My torque tuned motor arrived today, think I’ll have a play tomorrow.
Cheers

Wayne that's why I setup the silly ramp of sorts tonight with my son. You can see it can climb the 1" pad and then jumps over it with power to spare. I figured out the torque steer issue. Adjusted the servo linkage and it runs strong and straight.
The narrow tyres are a bit challenging for handling.....I'd say much like modern low profile style versus old narrow tall ones from the past.
Love how Gary's cab came out too

Before I replaced the motor a 1" rut in the yard or some packed leaves would slow it down. Not anymore

Heyos all!
Mostly recovered from the 'Feast' after a gym visit today. Sticking to the topic, I ordered one of the Gaz B-24 models from GearBest, hopefully will be here soon. After a detail build and a new motor, my Korean era M26 can chase it around. *chuckles* Following along still for all the nifty ideas in this thread.
regards,
Painless

Hello there Mr Wolf

Glad you've survived the aftermath of the Turkey Day dinner. I must admit there were times after the feast I felt so full I contemplated dropping and rolling to get to the next room in the house!
The truck you have chosen is a really nice one. It is on my list of things for Christmas this year.

I also ordered a GAZ and I saw you can now get the bed for the stock truck as a separate item so i hope they also do that with the GAZ.
The truck looks good, Carl, and I may have to try one of those motors. Too bad you can't turn off that brake sound, eh? I got one of those sound units and i might use it in a future project, but for these trucks I'm sticking with the mikro. Did that supplex show up yet? I was hoping you'd see it Friday or Saturday.
You guys may have seen in another thread that I ordered a 3D printer. Gotta love Black Friday. 46% off.
