I have been sitting here thinking what a magnificent job of work and wishing it were mine and then as I was looking across the top of the radio operators hatch,
Something was missing,
No Periscope
You don't need me to tell you what an easy fix that is, (Acrylic brown body with a "Molotow 1mm pumpmaker chrome pen" painted lens)

Ha ha. I have the detail parts and forgot to install them, jarndice. You always keep me on track and I appreciate your guidance. I was wondering about cutting pieces of film negatives for the brown lens part. Thought I read about that somewhere on here.

I found them! Now to paint and install. My state of Illinois is implementing a “shelter in place” order due to caronavirus so I’ll have plenty of model building time.

I painted the periscopes brown and cut film negative pieces to fit the part. I used white glue and clamped them with clothes pins until dry. They turned out fairly well. I also added a strip in the driver’s vision port.
Next I fabricated the brackets that held the tow cables in place. I still have to paint them.
