Re: Jagdpanther G2 base on Heng Long Hull
Thank you guys. I will be working on some of my 1/35 scale kits in the stash now and on the Vigniette for the JP.
Got the IKEA table 50x50. Screwed on some boards and filled with foam. Compressed for the Basic shape. Background wiht the JP will be soil/Pasture, then the broken wall, pedestrian and a small Strip of cobblestone road.
Also started on one of the Wall Segments and managed to do about 50% of it. OMG, this Thing eats styrene. As the offering of 1/16 bricks seems to be limited, I made them myself. Bought Evergreen 610mm strips, 3.2x6.3mm and cut segments of 1.4cm in length and sanded the edges. Et voila: Bricks. Then glued them up with Evergreen 1mm strips for the semi-regular space to fill in before texturing and painting.
Have to take a build breakl now. Ordered a pack of 7 strips and this tiny Segment, 13cm in length and now 4 cm high already ate me supply of 5 3.2x6.3 bars and all my 1mm strips. Btw, it takes the same amount of time to build a real brick wall.

Re: Jagdpanther G2 base on Heng Long Hull
Nothing real to Show off for now, sorry. But, can I shoot Pigments suspended in fixer through the airbrush? Anybody got an experience there?

I've clogged my airbrush quite a bit while attempting this. I'd assume with a very large nozzle it could be done???? Not sure. My best results have been with the brush applicationsSoeren wrote:Nothing real to Show off for now, sorry. But, can I shoot Pigments suspended in fixer through the airbrush? Slowly feeds the Squirrel
Made a bit of progress. Walkway plates started and the washed our cobble stone section added. The wall is now 6.5cm, still 3 more to go. That takes too long.

Road section is now painted. To fill the gaps, is there anything better than garden soil?
Now fixed with watered down PVA. The sharpcornered cobblestones dont look like those as soon as the gaps are filled in.

Thanks... yes... that was the idea behind it
. The wall is a nuissance to build though.
Added a filter to the walkway. 50% thinner and 50% light gray. That way it is very comfortable to Control the shading of the plates. Next will be a bit of washes and Pigments as soon as the wall is in place and I know where to put the brick debris.
