Absolutely, my lack of clarity, when I said a poster on a ruined wall I meant the outside wall not the inside.

For inside and using a formal portrait of Hitler I grabbed, the larger one scales to about 80x60cm in 1/16th but the second is roughly half that which might be a better size for a home environment.
The street scene is one painted by Hitler so I guess would be the sort of thing the party faithfull might hang in their home and finally a small(ish) b&w of a young soldier.
Growing older is mandatory, growing up is optional and vastly overrated.
Is it that as we get older we get wiser or do we just run out of stupid things to do?

Hitler tried to be an artist before he became a raving lunatic , try and download one of his paintings?
He did a few.

Perfect portraits Mr Dave
I will print them off & set to making the appropriate looking frame.
Really appreciate the effort you went to in order to get them reduced for me.
The biggest one is too big for the wall section I have, but I am certain to use that on another project.
Thanks again

Glad to be of help, they actually took very little time to find or size and it was quite interesting to see some of the results of the search. If you have a size you need give me a shout, I have a Tiger 1 sitting on the dining table right now and I'm sure when I get to the point of improving that I'll be asking folks for help & advice so it seems only fair to offer what I can do.

If you fancy some "litter" I was just looking at some of the leaflets that were air dropped urging the Germans to surrender.

Those that are not understanding of this as an example of hobby scenery and effects-look away, fair warning.

Got a couple of rough frames made for portraits to go in the ruins of my German dwelling.
The big one is as I thought to big, but it will get used elsewhere.
The smaller one is an ideal size.
Still to sand & shape them properly, then a light stain.
I also toyed with a German flag on the road being run over by the tracks, but it really did look out of place.

I would hope that we are all intelligent enough to appreciate that, as modellers, we are depicting/observing the reality of what happened 70 years ago.

Looking forward to seeing the additional features of your diorama
Tiger 1 Early Taigen,
Tiger 1 Mid Torro,
Tiger 1 Late Taigen,
King Tiger Taigen (P)
Jagdtiger Torro
King Tiger (H)
King Tiger Torro (H)
Tiger 1 late Torro

Cheers Mr Tiggr, I expect so, but some images and apparent glorification can upset some folks that have a far greater connection to this history. Just thought it fair to respect those that might be understandingly less tolerant of certain images or context.

Ive just put the stain on, and as a picture framer - I make a pretty good anything else !!
But, they look ok and for the reason I even needed them, they will do.
Stain is still drying so pics at some stage soon.
I do want to get it mounted to the wall though.

Well, now I'm calling it done.
Been fun to do the finishing touch to an idea ;)

'Der Fuhrer' is in place seeking to inspire his dwindling forces to an impossible feat, and this desperate soldier will see to it that at least one more invader does not survive to see his nation defeated...................

T34/85 'VENGEANCE' , Berlin Suburbs, 1945......................

Thanks for looking in guys
