Hey Richard, I used the small battery from the taigen t34 in mine. Everything just fit, although a slightly smaller speaker box would have helped no end!ImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks for that Tom. I see you have fixed your cables to the underside of the upper hull. I tied mine together with cable ties. I think this was probably a mistake. I might be better off separating them out.

I've established what part of the problem was. I had fitted a plasticard floor to which I velcroed the speaker box and Clark board in its housing. This had the effect of lifting everything by a few millimetres, enough for the top of the board with its plugs to foul the bottom of the crew compartment. I've taken the floor out and the top now fits, allbeit that the speaker etc are not secured in place.

On a different note, a few more photos. With the open cockpit, what I have tried to do is make it look lived in, more like a miniature real vehicle rather than a painted plastic kit. Whether I have succeeded, I leave it up to others to judge.

A piece of self propelled artillery is about as much use as a chocolate tea pot without a crew, so a call has gone out for the crew to be in place ready for action tomorrow morning.
