Oh man, I hope the CR2 is released next year. I am so going to build it into a GuP tank. ^_^

Even I'm interested in the CH2 as my 2nd modern tank and that's from someone who has never considered acquiring anything more then 1 rc model of a completely British built ww2 tank. Tired of seeing German armor everywhere.
Its preproduction views look pretty good.

The prototype HL CR2s are the plain vanilla type. If I had one, I won't do the same route as the M1A2 SEP v2 because CR2s with add-on armour, anti-IED package, bar armour, and other stuff just looks damn ugly hehehehe I'd keep the CR2 plain vanilla as well, repainting it to European colours (British Army black and green camo), specifically 11B of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, like so:
Basically a 1/16 version of the 1/35 build I did many many many years ago:

To "complete" my NATO lineup (unless HL produces a Leclerc, Ariete, and T-72 so that France, Italy, and Poland are represented hehehe)

I don't think I'd start out with anything more than the plain Jane look. Just doing some detailing of it if the molded on parts don't have enough depth to them.

Thought you knew ATC...it's getting easier to find the figures in 1/35th scale...not so much in 1/16th...even the current garage kits are too big ...kind of ashamed because almost every tank is represented in RC ...even the Type 10 was released early this year by Tamiya...almost went for that one ...but I heard bad things about the model...this one makes it fun though...as it lends to the imagination

It's a nice tank for sure...much better than the Leo...seen too many of those...the ZTZ...just doesn't appeal to me ...thing about the Chally is it's taking so long for it's release...think it's supposed to have been out already

Nice one Alpha.
I'm almost tempted to get one but I've already got enough projects for the next few decades.

Have seen the sample on a tube video that was posted months ago and it does look good. Look at how long it took for the Abrams to get on the market after it was first announced.
