atc - when I did my periscopes I tried everything for a backing including some mirror foil to make them pop out more color wise and still unless looked at almost directly ( except for the CITV ) they seem to fade.
Hope you find something that works.

...I put mine on before the finish touch up...it was a good thing because they really didn't go on "clean"...They do look and feel good on there though

Hull anti-slip is DONE.
Just a few touch ups and clean up, then it's primer and painting time.

Love it man! So tidy and neat conversion as always. I was looking at the photos I have and observe that the loader's gun skate ring in the SEP V2 is different. It has a saw-tooth pattern on the outside diameter. I don't know when did they upgraded this but not on earlier SEP. This is most likely unique to SEP V2. Did you observe this too ATC?

I don't have that Tankograd book so I don't have photos of what you said. I think I'll just leave it as is hehehehe
