The mirror swap works, I used to buy Ikea mirrors for my old printer. Cheap as chips, so as long as you can get one the right size then that will do the job.

The CR-10 is selling like hot cakes, so I doubt that anyone checks that the glass on each one is flat to within any sort of tolerance, some get a good flat sheet, some don't. I guess that I am reasonably lucky, but it isn't flat. Eg if I do the paper test on all four corner the centre is off, but that was true of previous printers as well, it's not just a CR-10 thing, it's mass produced glass sheets.

It isn't an issue on some printers as they have bed levelling probes, these prod the bed prior to a print and calculate where the uneven areas are, and then compensate the z height while printing. The CR-10 relies on the printer being set up manually, so bed levelling, and machine alignment is what makes it work.

Heart in mouth time, fitted shell/chassis mounts, and it fits. The front wheels turn lock to lock without hitting anything which was my main concern. Just need to do a couple of fuel can holders for the rear, and it will be ready for painting.

The gloomy news is that I have now run out of filament though more is on order, and the esc that I ordered has been delisted by EBay just after I paid for it? As to whether it actually turns up is anyone's guess, if it doesn't then I will have to claim a refund and then find another supplier, which is a pain.

I've been using Wibb's method of painting the glue on the bed with a wet brush, and I've adapted an old artist's trick to keep my brush in good shape.

So does anyone know or have a 3d print file for a recoiless rifle or bazooka type thing?

If not I will work on a file next week with any luck trying to make up from some pictures and try to scale measurement based on barrel bore size.

Do you want to tow it, or mount it in a truck, and for which side? You can probably find something like a 3.7 cm gun in a smaller scale and work it up, eh?

Exactly like that!

Mount it.on the back of a GAZ 66 truck. Add servo for rotation and slight inclination

Sorry, Will, but I can't find a free file. Found one for $14.99 USD and one for $199.00 USD but no freebies! :(
