The bustle rack tarp and vehicle I.D. number flags are on.
Happy with the over all look if a little sad that the stowage is not really visible. Its better than the hollow clip on pieces supplied in the box when new.
Now I can seal the entire thing & move to pigments

Antenna fitted & tied off, used heat shrink over the lower spring to hide it. Many Merks have white aerial bases, no idea why.
Sealled and now the pigment.
MIG 3013 Rubble.
See the lower hull with a mid range dusting over it, before fixer is sprayed over. Turret is not done yet.
I like it better already.

And turret.
This thing being so big is taking a lot of pigment to cover it, but thats ok, I like dirty tanks.
Still to do the lower hull & roadwheels.

A light spray of Pigment Binder - Vallejo 20.233
Now this is the bit I'm not sure of ...........
I never ever spray fixer, rather I use it as a glue to soak the pigment in place.
Unsure how this is going to end up but its done & I can always sort it out after if necessary.

Hmm... I will be interested in your estimation of how spraying the pigment binder works out. A clear flat, always the final coat for my AFVs, tends to reduce the effect of the pigments greatly.

It’s dried overnight and the effect has greatly reduced.
I will do over it with loose pigment and leave it at that.
For the running gear I will revert to diluted PVA to retain it in greater volume.
Messy business this pigment caper !!

Mr.B could you do me a favor?
I have no clue of the size of these Merkava‘s, but they must be huge.
When this project is finished could you make a pic of the Merava next to a Kingtiger or so?
Only if it is not too much trouble…..
Just to give me an idea of its size.

I forgot in which topic someone already put Mervava and other tanks next to each other - yes, this is really MOSTADON!
