Owing to Luftwaffe action over Warmley my entire workshop has been targeted and destroyed, oh dear, how sad, never mind...

Now if you had let me know they were coming, I could have popped over with 2 Flak 36 to combat them ;D

Went to B&Q and found the polystyrene insulation sheets that I was blabbering on about.

Under £14 a pack, really thick and ideal for making scenery using the blowtorch/soldering iron method. It is as light as a feather, carried the whole pack around between my thumb and forefinger.

There's a serious amount of scenery hidden away in that pack. Have you bought yourself a large van to transport it all in?

I'll have a word with Andy and see if club funds will stretch towards buying one....

Thinking about it, if the scenery is flat pack it won't take up any more room than it does now. I just ran over a sheet with a heat gun, and then ran my Panther over it which is heavy and has metal tracks, it didn't even dent it. Theoretically, as long as the supports were in the right places, it would be possible to make an entire stone effect bridge out of it? Ruined houses would be a piece of cake. It's so thick that a tank could run into them without it shattering the walls.

Looking at what the Spanish guys built, there are endless possibilities.

A stone effect bridge would be fantastic and ruined buildings big enough for a tank to hide inside would add a lot. Only problem I can see i that we might need a bigger hall! I seem to recall the original video showed a bridge being built, though I could be mixing it up with a model railway version.
