Thank you for looking in. Better has been done in the Past ( even sometimes by me ) ;0) Just dressing up this very old HL Tank a little bit more. Not too much Brass since it will be a Runner again once I am done.

Thanks! The Stuart is just a Tank I can run and have fun with. I kept the Detailing to a minimum for it on purpose. Mr. Hearn, I don't doubt that he is together with his Hounds of Renown on some RC Tankers version of Fiddlers Green! He was a good guy.

I bought a lot of stuff from Bob the detail was brilliant the postage because it was via the USA was horrendous,
I was saddened when I read on RCU of his passing,

Good people like him always have a special place in my thoughts.

Good Afternoon,
Detailing more of the Upper. Today's fun was installing a couple of those plexiglass periscopes up front. HL provided openings under the guards but they are not to scale. I cut a couple of spacers from plastic struts and mounted the periscopes in them. Basic painting and those periscope hatches look better. Not much done inside the Upper since those hatches are not being opened up. I saved the nice 3D printed periscopes for the new KT on this Dual Build. Jury is still out on opening up those Hatches on that Tank.

Good Afternoon,
Work is coming along on the Engine Deck. Drilling out that Support on the Hatch was *fun* The last time I did that, the Hatch on the Jagdtiger opened and accessing the part was much easier. Some lifting hooks and then miniature brasswork followed. Still more to come.

Thank you, Sir. The Size of these Pics from the Camera on my Phone do not leave a lot of room for error. Altho' fitting within MB limits for the site, I need to drop the size as displayed. I am not that able a Modeler to have this much of my work up for scrutiny. ;0)

Coming along very nicely .Inspirational

. I will be picking up again my initial King Tiger [AKA Porsche turret] after completing the Tiger 1 I am working on. At Xmas, I received the most generous gift I have ever had in my life and from a man I have never met. A set of obsolete Kenny Kong initial King tiger tracks and 18 tooth sprockets which are correct for a initial. These came from a island in the pacific so a lot of members will be able to guess who these were from.. Sorry to digress .Going back to your build. If you were going to remove the brass antenna part on the back deck, here is the best way I have found which I did to my Heng Long Stug deck. Clamp some vise grips to the the brass antenna section and with some ones help carefully turn the deck upside down with the vise grips still attached. You are now looking at the bottom of the brass antenna fitting. Use your soldering iron and touch to the center of the brass antenna fitting with it. When it gets hot enough, the brass fitting will drop to the floor with the weight of the vise grips pulling it out leaving a clean hole. Happy tanking Mr Painless Wolf.

Good Afternoon, John!
Yes, that Fellow out on the Islands is one of the Hobbys brightest Lights in my estimation. I could not have done anywhere near what I have managed without having a Friend like him. I have other Builds to do for him including a very old Whites Halftrack here soon. Now to the KT. I have some very early electronics in mine with a small, separate Board for the receiver. I use an aftermarket antenna on this Tank and have been using that Brass post as a link to the Board. So what I did was cut the post to fit flat and drilled the center out to simulate the cover that should be there. Thank you, Sir for the Tip on removing the Post. That will come in handy on the End of War KT for the second part of this Build. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work on that early KT. ;0)

I have a Desert spec Kubel that through the generosity of our mutual friend is at the swish of a wand, well maybe not quite

becomes a european spec variant.
My goto armour has always been the Panzer 4 his practical help allowed me to finish with accuracy one of those.
Hero but in my limited experience those Pacific islands does produce some true heroes in our particular hobby.
