any one care to translate this into "english" english? Meaning the instructions linked above. And is this only for the new 2.4ghz rx-18?
The new main board replaces the old RX18 and incorporates the receiver. Where the transmitter and main board/receiver are supplied as a package the codes are pre-set at the factory and the transmitter will work straight out of the box once the main board has been connected up.Tankbear wrote:There is a binding process with 2.4ghz Radios. Where the transmitter and main board are purchased separately the transmitter does need to be binded to the receiver in the main board. The process is as follows -
1. There are 2 switches on the top of the transmitter. Flick the right hand switch (referred to in the manual as the ''machine gun reality sound switch'' ) forward.
2. Switch the transmitter power switch on.
3. Switch the tank on.
4. The red LED on the transmitter will now start flashing. When it stops flashing flick the right hand switch on top of the transmitter back to it's original position, the binding process is now complete. (The manual states the LED will flash for around 5 minutes but it seems to be much faster than this).
Our initial stock of 2.4GHz packages has sold out already, we should have more in stock soon.
