Bit more, just a note on the after market mantlet the holes that mount it are in a different position to the kit parts,
not too much of a fix but need to be accurate as the mantlet will be off square if you don't get it right. The second
pic I just added for the optical illusion both mantlets are the same size?

Finished off Mr Surfacing the hull and now for paint, going for a scheme from the Tamiya colour sheet that comes
with the kit late in the war somewhere in Germany number 333.

And the reason the green is half done ran out of paint, you can just see on the last pic under the RH front of the turret
I started to thin it out to see if I could make it stretch and could see that was going to end in tears I was planning to
have her finished for the July Tank meet in Brisbane (Australia) but sadly that will be at another time. I guess she now
becomes "August" instead of "Juli".

Well finally after a holiday a couple of other projects and work am back onto Juli who is now September and
if I am honest more likely than not October. This camo was way harder than it looks to put down super fiddly
getting paint into all the nocks and crannies without over-spaying the other colours. I actually painted each
colour twice if I am honest with all the sorting out of over-spray. You will notice she is glossy as this is my
sealer over the paint and decals, wash, weathering and some chipping before a matt sealer over the top.
My estimate on the spay job around four hours to the stage you see her now, phew!

After a few distractions I am back on to "Juli" the Panther in December, I hope I have finished before the New Year!

Managed to get into a bit of detail, chains for the spare track holders, tow hooks and tools, only gone for subtle weathering
really wanted her to be pretty close to factory fresh. Like she has just been completed and out there to take on some
tommies or yanks or whoever comes her way. Electrics to go in next and working on some crew, slowly getting there!

Lost my model mojo for a bit there, back onto "Juli" the Panther who is now April!
Firstly anyone who has built a Tamiya full option tank would know the turret traverse
can be a problem many would know of the mod where you glue up the slipper clutch.

Both My Tiger I and II have this mod, thought I would go a different track noticed that
the turret is very close in in places touches the deck when rotating. So my mod have
shimmed up the rollers around 1mm, so far so good!

Also I added the impact mantlet which is heavier than the kit one so I figured a bit of
counter weight at the rear of the turret so added lead to the rear interior of the turret
the same weight as the mantlet.

Here's another easy one, drilled the coxial machine gun mount to take the flashing
machine gun that normally mounts in the hull, now I can mount this gun either in the
hull or in the turret, simple but something different!

Finally got the beast going, now better fill up those hatches I spent an age creating.
