WELL DONE, in creating this unit
.............This will allow people into I/R battling at a fraction of the cost that they would otherwise have to spend on the Tamiya tanks etc. Tamiya are already coming under increasing criticism for using 'Old Moulds' and for releasing just the 'same old designs' with a few extras added. I think that Tamiya are concentrating on their R/C Trucks and off road racing cars, rather than on the tanks. It will be interesting to see if Tamiya eventually 'Pull the Plug' on their tank range due to increasingly heavy competition from the Chinese, whose products in EVERYTHING ( They now make the Motorcycle spare parts for HONDA !! ) just seems to get Better and of a Higher and Higher quality. !!!

moin

just read that you can fire as fast as you want.
the problem for that unit i see is that no one (Tamya, Elmod, Egs) will play against a tank with that unit, because its to gamy and in a big fight you cant handel that problem realy, we have triied it at ouer battel day with a similar unit. it causes some problems between the battel peoples ;-).

@Ditrich
Just a sugestion, if you have the ability to creat the diverent setups, you should give your units a relodtime wich is comform for the international standarts.
i do not knew if it is posible, but what if you over diverent units , one unit for havy setup, one for medion, one for light.
The most people who buy a battelunit put it in a tank and it wil stay there vor ever. so if i have a havy tank i will buy a havy Mako unit, if i have a medium a medium Mako Unit and so on.
If you hold the international standarts for realodtime and hardness it will be a good option to take, with the diverent Fix Setups you should be able to save coasts because you only need 3 diverent programs for your chip.
please dont miss understand me, i like your idea and work, but at the moment i do not see a big chance to be acepted into the battelzones.

hope i could explain it, im sorry for my bad english

have a nice day
christian

Hi Christian the ARTC MK 11 does the following it eliminates the nasty track recoil of Heng Long tanks whilst providing support for a high intensity LED flash & servo control of cannon recoil.

Now I changed my KV 1 mako unit to a Heavy tank rating which means it has now 9 lives dead on the 10th shot
What It does is it registers every hit but only sends every second hit to the RX 18 board there for doubling the life it also has a 5 second delay, now you can still rapid fire but it will only allow the I/R to emitt every 5 seconds. This isnt the be all and end all fixes for everything and really this unit is bout getting people into the hobby cheaply. Kevin and Myself still have some more testing to do with different ideas and maybe we can improve also Ian I look forward to you getting yours and the feed back from you guys as to what you think.
Cheers Everyone and I will endevour to keep you all posted as to the progress,
Ken

Ken,

The units didn't make it time for our meet yesterday, but we've another one planned for March so hopefully there will be a nice mix of Tamiya, SLU,HL systems so we can test them out fully.
