Could you not use the elmod light system that allows external escs and maybe use two rx to connect both systems?

Eastern Front wrote:Sparks,

I asked the guys a RC35 about incorporating the TBU into thier kit, I do not think its possible as they never answered my question regarding it.
I think without the TBU its just a shelf queen to me. All my tanks are pulling double duty as shelf queens and then they come out for battle. I was never much into just driving them around the yard by themselves it gets boring to me after 5 minutes. I have to say though, I went out to Danville last year for the extravaganza and battled for the first time, man am I hooked! its almost as good as se#... err I mean its really cool!
Until they release this kit with the option to add the TBU, I will wait. what a bummer too because the controller and thier ESC system would work for any tank!

Nice build, Love the leopards!

Cheers!

I did think hard about this before buying, but I have several Tamiya tanks with battle systems if I want to go to war :D and most of the batteling is done with WWII armour, and as tomhugill says, there may be a way to get a TBU in there, I have already decided to put another unit in to allow working brake, reversing and indicator lights, and if one of those has battle system capabilities then even better.
