Hi Nick put extra conectors in incase you wanted to fit them in the hull make it easy to take top off, being 9 pin conectors you can wire I.R flash and dbu to the dbc then you have just the 2 conectors to undo to take top off.

Thanks for the extra connectors Pete. That should help me with a bit future proofing. Just one last thing before I plug in and test the DBC. The instructions state where I tap a 5volt line into the RX18. But they also state that I have to tap a "ground" line into the RX18 and to keep things usually confusing, They don't tell you where to solder the "ground" line onto the DBC.
Lots of quick help needed Gents, I'm quickly losing the will to live.

Hey Pete, don't forget, keep an eye out for the postie.

Hi Gents,
You'll be pleased to know that episode 1 of the "Darkith Battle System" saga is over.
I've plugged a completed DBC into my Stug and it works. Big Hooray and a sigh of relief.
I have to say that the features offered by the DBC alone make this upgrade worthwhile. The momemtum effect is much more lifelike, you can feel the weight of the tank as it is moving and slowing.
The "superspin" disable option takes away the toy feel of the tank and allows it to turn much more realistically.
And the "recoil block" is probably the feature that I wanted most with HL tanks. The DBC does this totally.
All in all Gents a worthwhile addition to any HL tank. It gets my unequivocal thumbs up and is highly recommended.

Thanks to my friend Pete(971wright) for helping me through the assembly and test. I must admit, he probably got a bit fed up with all the pm's I kept sending him. Having said that, it was invaluable information.

So on that note there are at least 2 people on this forum with DBC build experience that you can draw on if you need help when you upgrade with yours.

All the best and thanks again Pete.

Nick.

Hi Guys It landed on the front then onto the turret had half finished dbu on the cupula it broke sensors so will have to check out what else went wrong because it was switched on dont no yet if it damaged the dbc have swoped it for one that is ok and will bench test later ,still to repair dbu will have to change this as well .Not much damage to the actual tank knocked gearbox loose but fixed that and cracked turret drive ring fixed that not bad for about a 3ft drop.Have decided that Panzer 3s have the aerodynamic qualitys of a brick the glide angle is 2 inches forward 36 inches down not good .

Sound like you should get it fixed fairly quickly.
Hey Pete, next time you fly your PZIII put it in a Messerschmitt 323 Gigant first !!!.
