Update:
After reviewing resource pics of the firefly I noticed some errors I had made so I removed the lift loops and removed the flat section just leaveing the loops and the welds for the front and rear loops. I also filled in the section I routed out for the air intakes on the rear of the tank. I then mounted the intakes flush on the surface and reversed them so the openings faced to the rear as some did on their tanks. Next I added the fender braces to the fenders. Here are the updated pics.

Update:
Well today I decided to finish off most the the rear bulkhead and painting before joining the the upper amd lower hull sections. I still have the trailer hitch mount, extender, and hitch to add but will leave that for a bit rather than getting it knocked off or damaged. Here are pics of the air filter boxes(ECA) and the smoker boxes(Armorpax) added, and painted. Hope I'm not borring everyone with all the pics. As always comments are welcomed

Thank you Cliff
Update:
Yesterday and today I assembled and painted the boggies, then I joined the upper and lower hull sections. Next I painted the hull from the lower edge of the sponsons down and under the hull. Next I mounted the boggies and temporarily put the sprockets and idlers on the hull and put the track on to get a look at how she looks. I drive my brother crazy with all the test fitting I do, but I'd rather test fit 50 times than glue something once and have it wrong. I set the turret on to get an over-all look of the tank. Getting itchy to see it all finished and painted. Anyways here are the latest pics of the build so far..... Harold

Update:
Well it's getting closer. I now have the headlight brush guards installed and installed the two hatches with their detail parts added. I have started to apply the od paint to the tank. I will now turn my attention to the rear deck area, tools tail lights etc. Here are the latest pics of the completed work.... As always comments are most welcomed ..... Harold

The hatches with the numbers are from East Coast Armory, matter of fact anything with cast numbers are ECA's parts. White metal parts are from Armorpax, and other resin parts are from Panzerwerk.
Update:
Today I worked on adding the tools etc to the hull. I made the footman loops from bent mechanics wire. The straps are from spare Brit cross straps, the buckles are from the cut-off upper part of pleather buckle boots. I believe in re-cycleing anything that is usefull. The hold-down straps will be trimmed and re-applied once the rear section is painted. Here are the latest pics.

Quality stuff Harold, I admire all your hard work - and all the 'background work' thats required to lift these models up to another standard altogether.

Well done !

Update:
Well still at it. I have re-worked the shovel making it bit longer, painted the tools. Working on the track adjuster wrench. I reworked the strip in front of the bolt strip and sanded out the ripples in the transmission houseing. I made a set of barrel cleaning rods from 1/8th dowels to the correct scale length. Added brass furrels to the ends and threaded rod so they can be screwed together. Here ae the latest pics. As always comments are most welcomed.... Harold
