Oo I have seen that capri before somewhere. Tony & I always had capris, in fact during the 10 years or so of our married life we had 40+ and used to run a local capri club. For our wedding we had a convoy of 56 plus police escort through Southampton city centre. Have some wonderful memories associated with the Capri :) :) :) thanks for posting

I got a 2002 Honda VTX1800
and an 85 yamaha virago 700
The Honda is my rider, the Yamaha was a scrap yard bike that Im chopping up and trying to get running. Tanks are taking the money away from it right now.

Thanks Alison. The Capri has been in Orkney since about 1989-90 and I think originally registered to a merchant banking company and owner maybe from Radlet in Herts.

Hi,

Whats in my garage? Lawnmower, workbench, junk and a cover, under which is a rare 1972 Triumph GT6 convertable. 2.5 litre TR5 engine, but running on carbs it looks like an old Spitfire and the boy racers think thats what it is until it outdrags them at traffic lights accompanied by the smell of burning rubber and a straight six howl that sounds like the end of the world is coming. I bought it as a rustheap in 1994 and did a rebody, de-seam and respray myself. I also did some mild tweaking to the brakes and rear suspension so it stops and sticks better than the original.
Still got the interior to tidy up a bit and a custom dashboard to veneer when the money allows.

Did have one of these, Celica GT4 WRC before I moved to Thailand to work, over there I purchased a new Chevrolet Captiva. Right now back in Scotland I share a Lexus RX300 with the folks.

So petrol head, bikes just are not my thing.
It is never just "one" tank!
