Be afraid Peter be very afraid as I now have both eyes to do battle with

. Everything has settled down today and I can see quite well out of the left eye now. It will settle down even more over the next 24-48 hours which means I can drive again (told not to drive after the op). Had to have a stitch put in this one which has left me feeling like I've got grit in my eye, this will also settle down over the next 24-48 hours as the stitch softens so I'm told. So as I'm feeling so good I think I will get on with my Stug and get that finished so I have something of my own with which to do battle. All the best for now.
Alan

hi guys, link above is to the wifes photos of bovvy and also of 2 tanks transporters we encountered on the way down. bit blurry as taken through car window. the pics are in a bit of a random order as she was having some trouble uploading them all, but there are about 250 ish. i think she has put some on there twice though. they are mainly of the exhibits, a few of the display and few of the parachute display. sadly neither the wife or the camera are that fast so one or two shots as things just entering or just leaving the frame.

anyway. we have stuck them all on there, please look and enjoy. cheers dave

Hi ,nice picts ,Alan I to hope your eyes ok . I punctured mine a while back with a thorn . The docts glued a piece of plastic over the hole to stop the liquid pumping through my eye . God this hurt , I had to go back to the hospital for more pain releif . This didnt help it heel so they decided to stitch my eye ball , so the dreaded eye clamp again

. But its true eventually you cant feel them . When the anathstitic wore of I could a bit but as time went by they were fine and I didnt know they were there . I only two stitches but I was a little nervous . These I had in for over 6 months . And I persumed they would disolve . But oh no they had to be removed

. But it was a dodle . I was still a bit worried tho . I have a traumertised catahrac in that eye but there leaving it for now .
Wishing you well mate Andy

Thank's Andy mate. So far so good with mine and I just hope it stay's that way as I don't want to go through all the poking and prodding around my eyeballs again

. To be honest the OP it's self is not a problem just uncomfortable. It's more the thought of anyone messing round in your eye that get's you going. Hope you get yours all sorted soon. All the best for now
Alan
