i now have running gear....using a tiger1 as a donor i got from forgebear (cheers dave)
now comes the tricky part of making it all work with the exsiting abrams hull and wheels
should be nice and hard then

oooh i have a follower

..thought i was posting for my self after a while
i have been scratching away with ideas on making the suspension arms more stable than it was intended for? i have an idea drawn up and will be attacking it saturday

gatherd a few suspension parts need to handle the bashing about of road wheels
i got some carbon fiber swing arms and 16' 8mm bearings from a set of roller blades...cost all of 2 quid at a boot sale!!!....i recon they would have been about £30-40 from an enginering shop
the CF rods were a bit more tho

got the axle carriesrs fitted
and did a little test fit of track

axles fitted. will need beefing up a little to keep it all in shape but since this photo i have test fitted the tracks and took it for a spin

...it works great. need to change the suspension from rubber bands (no laughing) too springs (need to find them some place

) and it will be road worthy

tracks on...and test run! it works great

...the tempory rubber band suspension held out for all of ten mins

but the tracks stayed in place and ran true!....it all kinda fell into place with no hold ups or complications which saves alot of time!
i also sat the shell on top to get a little look see at what it will lokk like! the ride hight sat a little high but sorting the suspension out ''propperly'' should sort it out
