Thanks Cliff, that is the site and information I used to build my grey Tiger S13,VERY GOOD LINK and I had lost it in the crash,I am very grateful for the link as I have been unable to find it.This information on Grossdeutschland is very detailed and their first Nine Tiger jumped into Battle day one with 20kills,and maintained a 16.8 kill ratio. But the reference to KT IS SOME CREW WERE SENT TO PADERBORN for training but did not receive any tanks? But I will read the whole link again and see where it leads.I am trying to build a all the basic German Armor, with each model being a Grossdeutschland unit, the KT will be a challenge.Of course I could paint it PINK and send it to Matt on his next b-day,I kept that video too funny.cheers Blake

So this is how it went, the crews at Paderborn from Grossdeutschland stole three KT's and quickly sprayed a white helmet on the tanks and went to fight, they were very good and just kept fighting until the last shell. Now what color were the Kt's? We shall see.I have to have a Grossdeutschland KT.

Heavy Tank Battalion Grossdeutschland

On 13 December 1944, the III Battalion of the Panzer Regiment was redesignated Heavy Tank Battalion Grossdeutschland (schwere Panzer Abteilung GD). The companies were renumbered 1, 2 and 3 Company. The 1st Company received new Tiger II Ausf B "King Tigers".

Cliff,I have read that article ten times and it never registered that the III BAT/1ST KOMP,Received King Tigers thank you for bringing that to my attention, but another source I have Squadron/Signal Publications Panzer Grenadier Division Grossdeutschland and no reference to III BAT/1ST Komp.King Tiger, but then again I missed it on one source maybe I missed it in the book? Any further information would be helpful, paint schemes would be wonderful.Cheers Blake
