There is some great modelling going on here, I have seen this model in one of your vidoes all finished so you must post the finished pics here too for a closer inspection.
All the best

Hi Alan
No, it's not finished yet. It's up and running but I still have loads to do on it. Combat system, markings, tools, spare tracks, final weathering, crew etc etc etc. All my projects seem to end up this way - almost finished but not quite

. I keep getting distracted with new projects.

I can't remember what stage I reached so I'll take some fresh pics of the Elefant and post them up asap.
At the moment I'm busy building a CNC Router (inspired by guys on this forum like 'chris3') but its taken me longer than I thought it would. I'll post some pics of that too when I've ironed out the bugs.
Cheers
Chris

Hi Christian
I've been following your exploits with CNC control ever since you joined our forum. Really great stuff.
Since commercial machines are megabucks, I decided I would have a go at building a CNC Router table. After all, how hard can it be?
Here are some pics of my progress so far:-

and

As you can see, it's almost finished. I'm using Mach3 to drive it. I don't intend to use it commercially but I'm hoping it will be a great tool for my own projects.
I'll post up my progress on another thread soon.
Cheers
Chris
P.S In any case I need to find a place for it now since my better-half wants her dining room table back! Sheesh!

The CNC system looks very impressive Grom, I for one would have NO idea where to start with it. Keep the pictures of the Elefant coming as it's looking fab so far.
