Hi Iain if you want to sell any unused ( if there are any ) road wheels from your KT please let me know as I have an idea for them

(not the drive or idler wheels). All the best for now

sorry there i ahve been buying fill sets of road wheels and chassis components for two other projects ... E-10 and the e-25

You lucky devil Iain.
And one(possibly both?)fitted with the original clutched drive gearbox!!.
I consider the clutched system to be more authentic that the newer two motors/two boxes
set up currently used by manufacturers.
Whether the clutched 'box is any better than the newer system I,m not sure about though.
Obviously,you're always going to have a dead track(can't run one forward,one reverse for pivot turns),but are there any other disadvantages??

there both the old cluch drive systems and from what folk have said the systwm eats power
at some point i may upgrade the system .... but the cost is .. quite high
but the first thing i did was ger a set of metal tracks form dave ( forgebear ) .. and it makes one heck of a difference ...well woth the cash and i am actualy thinking about another set .... but i would like prefur the transport tracks with the 18 tooth sprocket
but there very very expensive by comparrision .....
