Re: pantiger
Hi , Ive fitted the Tamiya Panther G road wheels to one side although I might have to use a different method as my way seems like a ' bodge ' . I cut a piece of rawplug to the length of the hole inside the wheels , then drilled through it to give the correct diameter hole for the HL pins . These now fit and using what I beleive is the Tamiya spacers behind the wheels they seem to be ok . I need to do something with the idler and adjust the drive sprocket a little so its inline . And my skirts should still fit to the side of the tank .

looking good they make a big difference.

Re: pantiger
Hi I removed the ' bodged ' raw plugs from the Tamiya road wheels and made some steel inserts . And for the missing caps I took them from my original cast resin ones . Im just waiting on the rubber rims from Jasons store to arrive.

Re: pantiger
looking good the wheels will finish off your excellent model, may change the wheels on my pantiger or wait for a damaged/broken H/Long panther on ebay keep up the good work.

Re: pantiger
Hi mate thanks . I had to use the centres form my resin disks as I didnt have the Tamiya ones and as there on the same sprue as the road wheels,I didnt want to buy them again .I got a good deal with them . I bought the Tamiya Panther G : road wheels , metal barrel , turret and some odds and ends which included the spare tracks and some other bits I was hunting for . Im thinking of making a static Pantherturm thingy from the turret and barrel ? I have ordered the rubber rims from Jasons store . Think Dave has a set of HL Panther G road wheels on eBay I might be wrong ?
