what's the correct diameter of the Panther wheels as I've a set of Pantiger metal wheels I was going to modify but they are smaller in diameter than the plastic ones on the G?

hi Iain
they're the metal wheels for the old HL Panther and they are about 5mm smaller in diameter than the new HL Panther-G plastic wheels, I just wondered what was the correct diameter for the G? I'd hate to mod these and find they're the wrong diameter. :{

Hi Guys, :~
On Ebay there is a seller battlefrontmodels he sells the skirts and brackets for the Panther and the STuG III see this number for the panther..3801816309... I sent him a couple of messages about whether the StuG skirt brackets would fit a Panzer III but unfortunately they don't. His brackets are actually cast with STEEL WIRE inside and are really crisp mouldings.
This is his reply to one of my questions so you can see that he has done some serious home work......

Hi Alb,
You have to hand craft a model from alloy first of the piece you want copying, then cast it in silicone cast resin to make the mould. The mould may have to be made in 2 or 3 pieces depending on how complex it is.
Then you use polyresin to cast the pieces which are then placed inside a vacuum pump at 2 atmospheres which extrudes the bubbles from the resin.
You can add wire to strengthen the cast resin pieces, especially if they are small.
You may have to do this several times to get a perfect mould and a perfect cast. It is a long process but when it works its good.
Hope this helps.
Regards David
