So far R5gtt has not come back, nor done an introduction. Do you suppose this nutty discussion of various caffeinated drinks scared R5gtt away?

Because I had lurked for a couple of years before I finally figured I could contribute something I already knew about the introduction first protocol. Nobody bit my head off. I felt quite welcome. Just most boards I guess people are just used to posting without any introduction at all. Of course those forums are littered with 1 post trolls

I lurked for a great number of years. Not sure if I ever did an intro, but you know I am just one of those rude Americans...
I think I recall posting something about not posting an intro at some point, but I can't find it in a search so maybe it was all in my head.

Certainly I can understand someone's trying to enjoy an RC tank just for fun, not for a hobby nor for historical accuracy. But watch out for HDP when a comment is followed by...
...However, I started on the defunct Hobby Havoc longer ago than I can remember. Ever since, first HC and for quite some time now RCTW has been a daily means of communicating and clumsily supporting folks all over the world. I do appreciate when people make careful and reasonable commitment to kindness to others, and RCTW demonstrates so again and again.

Your first post was I believe a helpful one, followed by banter like you had been around for a while, and not straight to a question, giving you a free passtankme wrote: ↑Sun Aug 17, 2025 9:32 pm I lurked for a great number of years.
