It’s a Challenger thing. If you have to ask you wouldn’t understand.😎

I suppose I could put my 75% finished Conqueror into this group build although it is actually up and running and IR battle completed but with lots of things to be attached/fabricated. However I doubt it will ever be truly finished as there is a complete dearth of mid 50's BAOR markings anywhere. Since I'm doing this one based on the Bovington example and I have already done that deep glossy green that pre-dated the bronze green I will have to wait until I visit the Tank Museum and really check out the details later this year before I make a push to finish it. I love the tank. It truly is massive and is also an excellent RC runner for a 3D tank, but it is also a bit of a nightmare to transport. A Jagdtiger is relatively easy to place in a vehicle in comparison

Good lookin' tanks. You using Chieftain tracks on your Conqueror?

TBH I have no idea they came with the tank. This is my first 3D printed tank and I am impressed. HL gearboxes, servos for recoil etc and a Clark TK22A. It is the equal of most HL and the tracks despite the racket are really good compared to any other 3D printed ones I've seen in action. Except for the insanely long and kind of fragile barrel and just the huge size of the tank I would have no problem battling it. It's okay just running around our field in fun shoot em ups but in the real club battles the tanks do hit obstacles and I don't want to damage it

They just looked a little different than the ones I printed. The center pads seemed to be smoother than mine which have divets in the middle which is why I was asking. The holes may be there on yours and I just can't see them from the pic. You'd probably be surprised how much punishment these tanks can take. I have run my 3D printed Kranvagn barrel into stuff battling it and it's been fine so far. I did get careless and picked it up from the front part of the track skirts causing one of them to crack. A little MEK glued the crack right up and it's good as new.

I already had the barrel split. Not catastrophically it was just where it had been joined and was almost a good thing. I fabricated an inner sleeve to join and reinforce the two barrel pieces as it has a muzzle flash. It actually is a remarkable tank for the $600 CDN in the tank but then there is the incredible amount of primer, paint and matte varnish :D
