I vote that Mr Rob does an expose of how he does these!
What paint colour, how the camo gets layered, you know, all that.

I am about to embark on a figure painting marathon & could use all the help I can get :'(

Morning all,

Great job with the figures Rob I've only painted the driver figure for mine so far as he was the most concealed and hidden away in the cab area so he was used as the practice run :D

Here are a couple of paint sets that I bought to do the similar pattern that Rob has achieved.
With myself being coloured blind I find it much easier to have the colours to hand rather than mixing them which can be a bit hit or miss with my eyes :wtf:

Cheers, Lee. ImageImage
Me ? Addicted ? Never !!

Actually for now, my vehicle is good as it is.
Do not want to spend extra money on it!
And if I want such a towhook, I will make it myself but without the chain.

Is that yours in the pics you attached?
A little advice, so no offense….
Next time you ad decals, mark the spots they should come with gloss clear varnish.
Put decals on (I use Micro Sol and Micro Set) and wenn dry go over it all with clear varnish matt.
If you do it this way you will not notice the parts around the actual decal. Don‘t know how to call it but maybe you understand what I mean?
And if it is not your vehicle, just ignore what I mentioned!

By now all 11 jackets received their camo pattern.
Next step will be their faces, equipment, weapens and so.
