TK7.0 doesn't use the daughter board anymore. That 8 pin connector is no longer used. The rotation now has it's own port, MG has it's own port, elevation has it's own port... All of the LEDs are now Dupont connectors.

Can't really help with BB function as I always dump that.

hello Mr. Professor, isn't there a big specialist in this type of platinum? but looking at the electrical diagram, it seems that CN 4 is the elevation of the barrel (standard) CH 2the same but with servo
CN 10 is listed BB Launch system, there is also a connector indicated "Trigger" which would be the micro switch on the side, attached is a link which may be useful to you?

What are the ports (male JST) on the TK7.0 for multiple JST #3s? Will these multiple JSTs need to be replaced with several separate connectors? Or do these two JST-3 connectors go to the daughter board on the underside of the hull next to the turret rotation motor

Indeed, looking more closely at your photo, I would say that yes the sockets go well on the 3 plugs on the board next to the rotation motor, but do not solve the problem of the 8 pins and the 7.0 board

Thank you, Jofaur86, you did get me a bit closer to solving the puzzle of connector types and locations. I have quite a few schematics and lists of TK7.0 connection points and functions, but I did not ever download these two (below) from the page you cited in the URL.

Yes, tankme: I can see and readily connect to the rotation and elevation ports. I still haven't figured out the MG. I will identify what "DuPont" connectors are needed. As for the BB function, like you, I am quite content to do without. I do like the cannon sounds and I would like flash and recoil, but this must be a budget rebuild. (Despite my willingness to go without much of what people generally consider "necessities," I do have to pay for the heat and electricity to keep me warm in my tattered old clothing. )

Great if I could provide a little help, for the flash and machine gun? these are only LEDs, LED 1 and 5, so can be expensive' should be left for heating

There were actually multiple version of the daughter board also. On the daughter board, the MG and headlights shared a common voltage leg. Triggering them was done on the ground side of the circuit. I would demount the daughter board, desolder all the wires from it, trace them back to the source, and then put the JST or Dupont connector on them. Dupont connectors in this case are the same type used for servo connections, but servos tend to be 3 pin while the Dupont needed for LEDs would of course be a 2 pin connector. Dupont connectors come in multiple pin quantities. I've seen them from 1 to 10 pins.

Thank you, tankme: that is most helpful. I thought DuPont connector was the same as JST on servos. I have a zillion or so such connectors, as all the V3 electronics for Taigen tanks I updated came with multiple connectors ready to go.

A note for others: when I changed over the motors and power wires to bullet connectors, I first stripped and neatly tinned the wires. It may well be that bullet connectors crimp more readily and hold better if a braided wire is not tinned. Regardless, I have the connectors ready to stay put against any strain they will encounter.
