You will laugh, but I graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute, specializing in "Armament".
And as you understand, during laboratory work we disassembled down to the screws not only THIS weapon sent from Vietnam...
Cranking the barrel block is another problem.
There is an electric motor from a car starter there.....
If you only insert a lever between the barrels, but manage to jump back later - there will be a quest, and the lever will get the first cosmic speed...

There have been many improvements to the minigun over the years so maybe at one point it could go bang if rotated and maybe now it can't. I believe it had some teething issues in it's earlier versions.

It’s true that technology is developing over the years, but I think they have provided protection from fools...:):):)

Here is a great veteran's interview about insertion by Hueys. The interviewee was a dog handler, and starts by reminiscing about the location of the Australian base in Vietnam, Nui Dat. Then it moves to Hueys and how his dog reacted to the Huey.
