Well Jimster Meter rat will tell you you had 2 more cylinders than you needed in your air cooled engine than he needs in his aircooled 2CV
Never had a 2CV but started with a GS then a GSA estate then a CX Familiale all of them quirky and made out of tin foil but I sure miss them.

Why is the engine in the footwell

Hi, just as tankme says …..but it’s great when showing as you can see so much of the engine …..

You have such a clean motor! That’s a very versatile vehicle.

Thanks buddy ! Much appreciated . I bet you do still wish you had the 65 ! Massive following for them for sure. The van does get an awful lot of attention. Even when we are just parked up at the seafront …people always come up asking about it and taking pics…..and the sound it makes is wayyyy too addictive . It’s a bit different for the UK lol. Same when we go to shows or campsites……it’s like a magnet for people . We also have our van mascot that come along….full size PENNYWISE Clown ( IT) he sits in the back window ( not when driving though).he causes a stir all of his own !

I am amazed by what I learn here on RCTW. The lady who took me to Scotland and the Danube cruise finds clowns creepy. And every time her dog looks down a storm drain, she says the dog is looking for Pennywise. Now I get it.
