cut out with sewing thread and evergreen tube(the White stuff ) for the hatch hinge a couple of hours work for both and your good

started back on the pershing today, [went to the pub friday night got rather tankerd] ,  started by cutting out the front hatches, then adding some better handles to the side boxs, also the rear grill cover handles are in the wrong place ,so i made some out of steel wire and brass sheet, then positioned them in the correct place

cracking start ice that is going to be one nice pershing

yes same way as fv432 described earlier, with plastic rod , when i can find some the correct diamiter

started adding the el mod and metal gearboxs

ive done a bit more to the pershing , hinged the driver and machine gunner hatches and added the periscope guards  , and lengthened the barrel by adding a 30mm length of tube , i found a pen that was spot on.

time for a basecoat of paint, first i added a cast effect to the turret mantle and front hull using acetone ,then gave it a coat of lifecolor ua220 olive drab
