Thanks - I have already made a replacement lead, but a source of the small brown plugs (Molex micro-latch?) would be handy so I could wire up the cheap replacement speakers that I bought and test them against the kit supplied speaker just by plugging them in (and out).

I have the kit speaker box from my new build so it would be quite easy to compare the sound quality between them .......and possibly others too!

If the component shop stocks them, I will buy some and do some comparative sound testing.
