Same here mate.
A working prototype that ended its days in a scrap yard in Germany.
As the guy that has it says to me, "Its just mongrel enough for you "!!
I got to agree there.
All I would have to do is get it going with a new transmitter & receiver, and a brush guard on the hatch. Thats it.

I wasnt even sure what to call it, so I chucked in Lang as it has a much longer barrel than the standard M26.

According to my Hunnicutt Pershing book, the Pershing gets 5 periscope brush guards - one in front of the loader's hatch on the turret, the two hull hatches (driver and bow MG'r), and the two periscopes between the driver's and MG'r hatches. The Super Pershing is a cool vehicle with a very short lifespan.

Axels do the periscope brush guards. They make the model.

You could always use some from an AHHQ or I Love Kit Sherman.

Good looking tank Bixy

Yes it is Mr Lav, second last remaining from the Estate :(
Two others had wanted it but both fell through.
I always did have one eye open on it, but never thought it would hang around long enough to snaffle.

I think they were affectionately known as Super Pershings, T26E4 was the official name.
