Also planning on installing a SFR-1-D in a MATO king tiger. Do you have the IR version? If so would you mind posting a picture of your wiring? Since I have a SFR-1-HL in my MATO sherman thought about trying a TK80 in the KT, but love beier.Tanker1966 wrote:Well I ordered me a Beier SFR-1-D Double Sound Speed Controller for my latest Mato Tiger 1 build. This will be my first Beier product. I hope I like it!

I don't have the IR version. I received the board, but I find it pretty difficult to configure. I don't speak or read German and even though I have the English instructions, a lot of the words on the software itself are still in German. It looks like this board is mostly configurable for sound and lighting and not so much for the motion aspect like the Elmod boards are. I can really dial in the parameters on the Elmod board for gear shift changes, recoil and such to get realistic motion, but I'm having a hard time getting the same performance on the motion side with the Beier.Kyoz84 wrote: βSat Feb 11, 2023 6:06 amAlso planning on installing a SFR-1-D in a MATO king tiger. I get it. When I first programmed my tamiya truck with the beier SFR -3 board it was pretty intimidating and confusing. You just need to really experiment with the settings . As far as momentum settings under the configuration tab - engine sounds (i think?) You can dial in the momentum and characteristics of the tank. I set my sherman to light and it feels very realistic. But then again I have no experience with the IBU units. Just give it a try and read through the manual. I'm constantly emailing or messaging beier through Facebook and they have been amazing with helping me understand things better. Reach out to them if any questions. I only speak English btw.Tanker1966 wrote:I don't have the IR version. I received the board, but I find it pretty difficult to configure.
