Thanks Michael it's all your fault 
I've just had some time to tinker with the suspension and have yet to finalize the best print. I may try an even better print material. So far so good fingers crossed! What I've been able to reprint with tougher Pla is much more rugged ( at the weak points) like at the hull connection and at the swing arm joints than the pot metal.
