I will be having one of these to do the captured version if you don’t mind !
Will need the accessories for it though if you can be bothered ?

That won't be a bother at all, it's just the rocket tubes added to the back I think, but I'll check if there's anything else.

If you do decide to dip a toe in the water then look at the creality printers as a starter, some of the other brands leave much to be desired plus there are plenty of spares, add ons, and teaching vids for the Creality stuff.

Ok, I've been looking for a few days. I think a good starter for me is the Creality Ender 3 v2. I did start to read the 3D printer thread, but by the time I get through it, I will have had two more birthdays. What material would you suggest starting with? Like you, mostly suspension pieces, wheels, hatches and the like for tanking.

I use pla plus filament. It's very strong and easy to work with. Only down side it can warp if heated. I suggest watching a rew beginners videos on setting up and using a creality printer.

Looking spectacular Alwyn. It would make for a good little tank for someone to purchase the stls and print.

Thanks Carl, there's still a lot of design to do and the prototype to build and get working before the stls will be available, but it will be a cute little rc tank. As a piece of random knowledge, more of this tracked vehicle were produced than any other tracked vehicle ever, which says a lot for the utility and versatility of this vehicle and the genius of its designers.

Still a great deal of detailing to do but moving in the right direction, the main body is almost design complete, it's mainly down to detailing
