Looks like their reactive armour is made of shoeboxes sprayed green
Given the rumours told to me by friends 'in the industry' over the years, that statement probably isn't too far from the truth...

I know sometimes the US special forces will use boots similar to hiking boot in mountainous terrain, but those look like tennis shoes.

Could those be what was once called a "chukka boot?" Regardless, I recommend them for walking---back to Russia.

I'm sure there would be some Ukrainians even willing to give them a ride back to the border and shove them back across it.

Apparently this T90 has whats being called a "cope-cage' fitted, but with ERA bags on top of that.
All the reports are that the cages are no good on their own, but can be barely effective if covered with ERA bags or blocks.
Notice the ubiquitous log of wood on the rear, and fuel tanks missing.
Be a good subject to make an H/L one into.
