on the cupola in place currently there was no MG, on the other hand on the one under plastic there is above the Episcopes a Rail or a sliding part was fixed we can also see on this photo, the MG support raised (red arrow)

As you said earlier Jofaur there was not an official mg mount for the Tiger 1 early but lots of pictures show them with Cupola mounted MG34s, These were all conversions that were engineered by forward workshops at the urging of Troop and individual Tank commanders,
Some were really well carried out whereas others were quite simply a Bodge. Your pictures clearly show the difference

I know a lot of people are put off of making up a set of track cables and settle for the plastic abortions that come with the Tank,
The aftermarket ready made metal cables come with loops already installed but the cable is too long which is why you need to cut off the loops and make your own.
The loops which are usually seen as the biggest challenge are easily made if you slide a length of heat shrink tube down the cable then form the loop by pushing the free end of the cable into the heat shrink alongside the cable already in the tube with a couple of mm sticking out behind,
Now slide the heat shrink up the cable until you are happy with the size of the loop and apply heat to the heat shrink and the job is done and repeat for the other end of the track cable.

sells track cables which come with instructions.
A pack of various sizes of heat shrink tube can be found on E-Bay for pennies,
They can be easily cut to size and have a multitude of uses.
There were various patterns of Track cables on the Tiger 1 used by the German Army,
a little research can identify the year the particular pattern was in service.

Have you ever come across the smoker in the pic? it did not come with instructions, I cant get it to work, I connected the plug to the taigen unit but there are 4 other wires which I do not know what they connect to.

Your smoker looks like it is a "Tarr" unit,
Do you have a Taigen V3 control board in your Tank?
Tarr Smokers will not work with a Taigen V3 board,
Also if you decide to use an aftermarket transmitter with a V3 board the hull MG will not work,
The answer is fit an aftermarket control board such as an IBU/ELMOD etc and receiver and your Tank will be transformed.
